Robbie Burns Day is just past and Valentine’s lies just ahead. Both exciting events in both a social and quilting sense.
Have you thought of making handmade valentines for your special ones? We have some neat patterns. I know I made one for my husband years ago and it still hangs on our bedroom wall. When I suggested that it was old now and should maybe be taken down, he looked at me in horror. “No! That is special.” Maybe your loved ones would have the same reaction. If so, check in with us for help in making them.

We are excited to announce the beginning of our new Mystery Quilt—The Community Garden.

Bags of Love Sew day- Feb 21 10-4pm
Come in for an hour, or all day, and help put together, sort or finish up quilts for children in need! You are invited to come in and help us put together donations for the Bags of Love program. You don't even need to be a quilter! Anyone who can cut, press, tie, or even sort is encouraged to come in and lend a hand. Share this event with your friends!

Bladez class- date to be determined
This is a gorgeous scrap buster, or use new fabrics chosen to your specifications. You can use this technique to create anything from a table runner to a king sized quilt. Drop-in Day - any day a class is not booked
We have a great space for you to come in and sew! Drop in or call to book a time for you and your friends to take advantage of our spacious classroom space, giant cutting table, and quilting ironing boards.

Hello Reader, Welcome to August I can’t believe it. It’s August already. July is in the past and what a tumultuous month it was. For us it began with a hail storm on July 1 st which wiped out many of our fields and damaged almost everything else including our house, our buildings and our trees. But it did put an end to the drought. We have had several rains since then, providing moisture to help the crops that are left to grow. And giving us some hope that our water reserves will be renewed....
