Hello Reader,
Happy March!
Here comes March. The month of green. Herbert is still hiding among special groupings of fabric, just waiting for you to find him. Remember, if you find him, you can get the fabric he is showcasing for 40% off in honour of St. Patrick’s Day. Special runs until March 17th.
I also hope you enjoyed the first clue from The Community Garden Mystery Quilt we gave you in the last newsletter. The second clue is out now- scroll down for more details in this email.
Remember, if you haven’t started yet, we have a great deal for you. You get a discount on your fabric purchased for this project!
“What did the quilter blame for having too many children? Reproduction fabric.. ”
(found online)
Do you have a favourite story, joke or quilting experience? We would love to share them with the community, just drop us a line! (you may remain anonymous if you prefer)
We hope you enjoyed the first clue as much as Sharleen did designing it. If you haven’t started your Mystery Quilt but would like to do it, you are not too late. Pick your fabric and get started- and get a discount when you purchase your fabric at our store!
If you didn’t get last month’s newsletter with the first clue in it, contact us and we will send it to you.
Clue # 2 for the Community Garden Mystery Quilt |
I know we shared this with you last newsletter, but thought we'd include it this time too, since there is still time to make your St. Patrick's Day projects. This is a tutorial for a St. Patrick's Day themed mug rug. Hope you enjoy!

Entries are coming in to the designs for our new Tweed reminiscent fabric. Please keep them coming. We are so excited to see what patterns you envision to make use of this unique fabric. It is so soft and tweed-like in appearance but 100% pure cotton.
One suggestion that came in is to use the grey tweed with black in the Easy Two Colour Quilt pattern we featured last newsletter.
Great suggestion and we know there are many more ideas. Remember there are prizes for participation and for the winning suggestion!
Click below for more details on the contest. Prizes for participation, AND for creativity.

Hello Reader, Welcome to August I can’t believe it. It’s August already. July is in the past and what a tumultuous month it was. For us it began with a hail storm on July 1 st which wiped out many of our fields and damaged almost everything else including our house, our buildings and our trees. But it did put an end to the drought. We have had several rains since then, providing moisture to help the crops that are left to grow. And giving us some hope that our water reserves will be renewed....
